Radio Shack: powerful exclusive tool for penatrating the sub 1000 market Whoop-de-do! Sub 1k computers are fine, my grandma just got one. Hope cpq is not the next Packard Bell, which was her other choice. I know the sub $1k are a huge market, but... I would like to see Compaq market into the same territory that Dell is doing a nice job at. $2.5K to $8k machines. Good margins there. There is a huge market for cad/graphics machines where compaq's good products go un-advertized and impossible to find. Not even on the net. You would think that a company with the resources of cpq would be able to focus on more than one thing at a time. But perhaps they can't.
