I can sympathize. I tried a market order to short ktel 2 mins. before the close last Fri. First time it wouldn't take because it was on a down tick. Okay, fine, second time I got the confirm screen with a tracking number. I thought it would just be a matter of time before I get the order confirmed screen. Few minutes after 4 and nothing. I check the open orders and nothing. I check my daily activity and find the order didn't go through so I send an email asking for an explanation. Next Mon. Ktel opens 8 points down and no response from Datek. I call them and the best the could do is offer 4 free trades. Their explanation is Ktel down ticked after I placed the order even though I got a tracking number. Their reply was that I must have made an error when I placed the trade. In other words its your problem not ours. Has this happened to any one else? Ben
