If you use ZipPlus with a cable converter, gender changer, in a multiple device SCSI chain, or without the Iomega blue AutoDetect cable, included with every drive, you may not receive the results you expect from the drive and you may compromise the integrity of your data.

Folks, this is inexcusable. A basic aspect of SCSI is the ability to daisy chain devices together. The $199 Premium-priced Zip Plus doesn't even allow this basic aspect of SCSI. And only now do they own up to this fact when they have sold possibly hundreds of these lemons advertised as totally SCSI-compatible.

Not only this, but the fact that they also state:
"Do not use ZipPlus with PowerBook or PC notebook SCSI connections.

So all you Apple Powerbook owners better listen to Iomega, and not use the $199 Zip Plus with your laptops. Because according to Iomega, it will "compromise the integrity of your data." Not mention you PC laptop users who sprung for that SCSI card; you too are left out in the cold by Iomega.

Are there still any Iomaniacs here who don't question the shoddy engineering in favor of heavy marketing by Iomega, and how this may affect the Vapor! drive?
