A good friend of mine has it on rumor that a well known hedge fund is shorting CSCO. Alone, this doesn't mean that much...afterall, they could be shorting CSCO and buying LU for a relative value play or shorting CSCO and buying FORE hoping for an acquisition. In any event, let's hope its not a pure short on speculation about an earnings short fall, CSCOs stock price has already discounted a lot of potential good news...they will need strong numbers to keep up the pace.
