Eric, As I said, I haven't read it yet, though I probably will, as I agree that it could provide useful background in understanding the pre-Amelio Apple. There's no question that the company had been screwed up essentially since Jobs had gotten thrown out. I tend to watch the media reports on the book, as I feel they will have a greater effect. I'll take your word on Gil's evenhandedness regarding Jobs in the book. But take a listen to this RealAudio interview with Gil last week.
