Dollar Falls Against Mark Ahead of EU Summit dailynews.yahoo.com Ever wonder why the formation of the coming euro is veiwed as so horrible for gold but hardly mentioned in connection with the dollar? Even though the implication would be that Europe has plenty of dollars to sell. P.S. I thought bioth Trichet and Duisneberg were known as montery conservatives. But I'm no expert. Mostly thinking out loud. My guess would be that they're concerned with unity as there are many acceptable candidates thoughout European CB's.
