Peirre, my grand grand father I was told paid the equivalent of $350,000 in today currency for a very special tulip bulb.

Gues what he was able to sell it to a neighbor for his farm and cattle ranch within a week.

Unfortunate he was killed by the buyer, as the tulip bulb failed to germinate and produce more tulip bulbs.

As you may guess the buyer ended in the poor house and the ranch was sold to pay the attorneys to defend the seller family from a mirad of allegations.

As they say blood in the street.

This a purely fictional story no harm intended.
