I read so many complaints about etrade that i will share something positive to balance things out. in the last 15 minutes of trading today i was trying to take a position in a stock below the ask and even below the bid. well i got filled with my dependable etrade. i was surprised because i was following my my real time quotes and figured i had missed this one but lo and behold i get a message that it has been filled. i went back and checked time and sales and right there in the middle of all the data is my fill, below the bid. that is what i call improving a position and this is not the first time i have been filled by etrade when others are sitting waiting. in my experience, they can't be beat for the price.
