More interesting info on MB...

MBTrader (RealTickIII) creates a log file like 980501.log in the ..mb/data/ sub directory. It contains every last detail of your trading day, down to the exact second. It includes all times, order codes, routing instructions, prices, order progress, even which MM took your (SOES) order, etc.

You can literally see intervals like 2 seconds between "order" and "executed". This file is created automatically, and presumably, if something was to go wrong, you have the exact info needed to investigate the matter.

Rather than all the raw data contained in the log file, there is also a more succinct "Daily Trade List" which acts as a profit and loss report which you can pick up from their (Terra Nova) website at the end of the day. Shows you Total Gain (Loss) on the trades and also Total Commissions paid.

It appears to me that interest is paid on the cash balance daily, since I only had money in the account for about two days and in that time interest was added. Needless to say, I had money in Datek for months and I dont recall ever seeing interest added.

Nice stuff.
