Jeff-

The company is doing all the right things technically, but they have an image problem right now. I want to see ALYD come out and state where they stand with regards to the Euro conversion efforts and other capabilities which are possible with SmartCode.

The street wrongly believes that ALYD is a "One Trick Pony".... they are not. But they have allowed themselves to be considered as such because of mismanagement of their image.

Leveraging their technology, engineers, and sales staff can be accomplished right now. Acquisition candidates should bring other things to the table that can't be built in house.

IMO ALYD needs to get on the ball and do some real PR work to educate shareholders and analysts about what they are doing outside of Y2K WITH THEIR OWN TECHNOLOGY... not just by some planned acquisitions. This will alleviate concerns if handled properly.

With that said... the company is doing a lot of things well. But improvement is needed.

P.S. It still amazes me that Wall Street believes that the market for Y2K services will end on 01/01/2000.... wow... are they in for a rude awaking! Especially when ALYD keeps racking up Y2K revenues into 2002!
