advantages of laser: 1)less need for injection=happy patient, especially kids 2) happier kids= happier dentist...believe me!!! 3) more conservative preparations, less removal of tooth structure. 4)better bond strengths 5) many soft tissue applications as well. 6) "cutting edge" technology. 7)time saver... no injections= no waiting to get numb= more production. 8) increased referrals 9) able to do multiquadrant dentistry as no anesthesia required. I'm sure that if I took a laser course they would have lots more.
