To All:
Can anyone comment on the rumor that CYBR may be acquired by SYMC or CA ? I can see why SYMC might want to eliminate a competitor, especially now that CYBR has some product included in the Win 98+ package. If SYMC had to pay for the exposure, recognition, and endorsement from MSFT CYBR will get as a result of being included in the 98+ package, it would probably cost more than the current market value of CYBR.

It seems like everything has gone wrong for CYBR for quite a while. It also looks like a pretty solid bottom has been put in around 6. Assuming that CYBR will NOT be acquired, but that all the bad news that caused the stock to fall to 6 is now out, is this stock a buy?

I looked at the short interest earlier and I think over half the float is shorted, so obviously someone thinks CYBR is going lower. If/when some good news comes out might there be a short squeeze to light a fire under this dog ?

I currently don't own CYBR or any other tech stocks, but I do own CYBR's "Uninstaller" product which I like. I also don't follow the software stocks closely which is why I don't understand why CA might want CYBR.

If those of you that know something about CYBR would let me know whether or not I'm wasting my time looking at CYBR I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Lee
