Regarding the gateway. Is the Inter-Voice gateway Digitcom's Technology?
Does Digitcom market the gateway to ISPs or companies, or does it use the
gateway only to provide its own service. Tell me where Digitcom has the
Inter-Voice deployed, POPs?
I am working on some pages that will include contact and market info on the
vendors providing IP telephony. The pages will include linked emails and
URLs as will as a plethera of market info such as POPs, partnerships, etc.
Can I assume that any questions or requests for more info that I may have
regarding Digitcom and its technologies/services can be sent to you.

Digitcom Secures Investment to Expand Internet Telephony Offerings

Digitcom has secured an agreement in principal for a staged investment of
up ot $60 million by the Dharma Group Corporation, an international
investment company. The Dharma Group will accumulate a minority stake in
Digitcom as its participation grows from an initial $12 million investment
within the first half of this year. Digitcom will use
the investment to build out its Internet phone and switched international
long distance network infrastructure.
Digitcom is planning to deploy online Internet long distance facilities in
Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Digitcom is also discussing the
deployment of its voice compression technology on current international
long distance services in Taiwan, Tokyo, and the U.S.
In a separate announcement, the Russian Central Science Research
Telecommunication Institute, ZNIIS, will test Digitcom's Internet telephony
technology for certification in the Russian Federation.
Digitcom provides Internet voice communication technology and is marketing
its Internet based telephony products including FAXport, NetCall, VOXport,
and Mobile Callback.

Russian Central Science Research Telecommunication Institute, ZNIIS, has
approved Digitcom's Internet telephony technology for use in the Russian
Federation.
Digitcom's approval in the Russian Federation was very important as it has
been discussing the deployment of Internet telephony services with
St.Petersburg National International Telephone, Elektrosvyaz in the Rostov
Region, and Elektrosvyaz JS of Moldova. Joint development agreements with
St. Petersburg Telephone and
Elektrosvyaz Rostov are approaching finalization.
St. Petersburg Telephone reported the completion of 79 million
international and inter-regional long distance calls last year.
Electrosvyaz Rostov provides telephone service to a region of 4.5 million
people, and is an international telecommunications gateway to Italy,
Turkey, Ukraine and southern Russia.
