"Blessed are you, 0 Lord our God, Ruler of the universe who has given us Messiah Yeshua and the words of the Renewed Covenant. Blessed are you, 0 Lord, giver of the Renewed Covenant."
Hi Donald, I am sorry to inform you that there is no such thing in Christianity as the renewal of the Old Covenant. The Church teaches that the Old Covenant is dead and passed away. God confirmed this in 70A.D. when He destroyed the Temple, the Levitical Priesthood, the Aaronic Priesthood, the genealogical tables, the Ark of the Covenant, etc. As for the New Covenant, God not only gave Christians the Words of the New Covenant, He gave them the reality--Jesus Christ Crucified for the sins of the Whole World and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. If it were only a renewal of the Old Covenant, then we would still be dead in our sins and without the Holy Spirit. It is a horrible thought to think that someone could be in the darkness of an old covenant renewal.
We are also living in the New Sabbath and not the old. Jesus rose again on the first day of the week. This is the day of the New Creation in Jesus's Blood. This is the day the Jewish Apostles and disciples establihed for us to worship and partake of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus. The New Covenant is A New and Living Way
Jer.31 31: Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new(not renewed) covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
May the Lord bring you to the truth according to the desires of your heart. I also pray for your whole congreagation.
