I'll probably get a new machine after Win 99 comes out, so I don't have to install a new OS - a terrifying prospect.

Win 99? Hmmm, I think MSFT delayed Win 97 because they really need three years between OS releases and the next one (after Win 98) will be Win 2001, the space oddity complete with talking Bill! Or was that HAL? <g>

If your PC reaches the point where you crash a lot and get blue screens. Refreshing the OS, heck format c:, can do wonders. I run NT now and find it FAR more stable and reliable than 95 which I would reinstall once every several months or so. I've ran NT now for about 6 months and I really like it, very stable OS but it's not for everyone especially if you rely on plug and pray. It's real nice to have an in-house computer whiz kid so I guess I'm spoiled or lazy. <g>
