I know auto workers that make a lot more than that. As for Jacobs, I have always been of the mind that if you want good management, you have to pay for it. True, the first deal has been elusive, but I believe it is now on the horizon. Then other deals will come, and he will be earning his money and then some. Maybe in the next six months, we will want to give them a raise. I for one want to see what they can do with a company with working capital, a company growing through acquisitions, and field delineation. And, at long last, letting them do some real exploration.
