High 5's All Around!!!
As you know, I'm heavily invested in TDFX so you have to forgive my excitement. The biggest news in my mind from the meeting is my confirmed feelings about our management. They have pretty much told us that they will deliver a 2D/3D board that every OEM including the big boys must have for Christmas. No direct mention, no hyping, told us this is what we are doing and we feel it will be the best. They have the best boards out there for the serious gamers. Now they will make the best board out there for the new guys that buy a pc and want everything installed and set up out of the box. The "casual gamers" which includes me want hassle free put it on my desk service and have a fire her up and see what she can do attitude. Many of these people will as I did learn more about the games , the downloads, patches, drivers, as they go and when they do they will look to supe up their machines to get the most power they can afford (2 V2's or a V3 by next year). That means adding these cards on to the Banshee. WOW, am I the only one but are we talking some serious, serious dollars down the road. Joe C.
