I have been able to find out a little about Alkaline fuel cells..they are a part of the technology developed for the Russian space technology program by UEIP (Urals Electrochemical Integrated Plant still in operation with 17000 employees and 30 years experience in fuel cells)..they built the fuel cell batteries for the Russian space shuttle program..remember they have been in business for 50 years and were /are Numero uno!..these alkaline fuel cells according to Joseph Maceda of PCT holdings are more efficient , lighter and a fraction of the costs of other fuel cells!..So it appears as if ASRF have patents for similar fuel cells and with their Joint venture with Westinghouse (whose Solid Oxides Fuel cell is apparently not so successful) we may have a contender..wouldn't it be nice?.. Has anyone talked to the inventor in Toronto yet ?
