I have asked Tamara Hicks for current info on QLT. In a quick update (more coming by mail), she advised, "As for additional information on our AMD and Arthritis trials, the AMD (Age-Related Macular Degeneration) pivotal studies is beginning now, we are opening 19 additional clinical sites to try and fast-track the trials. As well, the arthritis indication is in a preclinical stage. We will be determining in the new year whether it will be an indication we will be pursuing or not." As Biotechs are new to me, I have asked Tamara to describe the process and typical schedule to get approval for new drugs or treatments. If someone else has that information, please post or email it. Are "pivotal studies" near the beginning?, end?, middle? of the process? Any info would be appreciated. Best wishes to all, Ian
