CLV Investors:
On the yahoo thread someone was thinking of shorting CLV and
my responce was to that message:
1 First Boston just gave CLV 3mil (see last announcement)
of convertable debentures. First Boston is a super respected
investment banker who does their homework before investing
and may know a little more than 'our expert'.
2 Lehman Brothers (as it has been rumored) about ready to
advance the CLV up to or close 100mil. Lehaman Brothers
are probably the most respected investment banker in the
US.
3 Our 'expert' talks about the debt--Possible 1 and 2 will
be used to pay the debt down--with the 5% interest convertable
bonds.
4 What do you think will happen to the stock price when:
a. The Lehman Bros deal is announced?? Don't forget on the
day they announced the First Boston deal the stock jumped
1 point on relatively strong volume.
b. In the next two weeks (by may 15th) Clv will announce their earnings. It is obvious that with the huge increase
in screens over the prior year's quarter the Revenues are
going to jump HUGE!!! What effect do you think that will
have on the stock Price???
5 In regards to the debt, it is obvious to me that CLV will
split the stock as it approches the mid 20s and eventially
have a secondary. No i do not think that will create any
dilution to harm the s/h based on the few shares available
right now.
6 Any, if you can't see that and think our 'expert' is right
go ahead and short it. Do forget our 'expert' has been
100% wrong so far. "The fruit is on the trees"
thanks, richard
