Hi Yeadon - Yes, if other small start up companies can grow their sales, sign new partnership distribution agreements, and in fact do quite well in this "no growth" industry .....then it is time for the VTEL management to re-evaluate their long term business plan.

I do not like the idea of spending marketing dollars for TV ads to just "enhance" the company image but in fact I want these dollars to translate into new sales.

I heard that some former CLIX and PCTL engineers have started a new company here in Silicon Valley that will introduce a next generation Video product. It's possible that we will see another leap frog in technology in both lower system prices and much higher performance.

VTEL really needs to hook up with one of the large telecommunication companies (ie. CSCO). I was very disappointed to see that PLCM inked a distribution deal with Lucent rather than VTEL.
