I used my chess clock yesterday to keep track of time on SI - time actually reading vs. total time on SI.

26.4%.

Lots of waiting, lots of moving around. I love SI but, of course, the more time one spends the more one wishes it were more efficient. The threads with lots of short messages really kill the efficiency.

Brad and Jeff, would you please let us know your thoughts regarding the ability to access more than one post at a time?

For example, the ability to download every new post on a thread with some maximum, or, even better, download every new post on one's bookmarks. Then just read.

My 26% could go to say 90%. Ah, a better mousetrap!
