Let's see, you say Sony can afford to sell SciFi drives at even greater losses than IOM can sell ZIPs. Sounds like a plan. Actually, it sounds like a plan dreamed up by someone who doesn't care if anyone wins.....so long as Iomega loses. BTW, it's one thing for a company to hit the ditch and lose money on a product.....it's entirely a different matter for a company like Sony to bring a product to market at a money losing price in an attempt to undercut and drive another company out of biz.....the words "predatory pricing" and "dumping" come to mind. Looks like a win/win for the lawyers, don't you think? Surely, The Mighty Sony has better sense. Further food for thought: your favorite fantasy product was supposed to cost about the same as ZIP when it was "announced".....that was six months ago and ZIPs were selling for a lot more than they are now.....I wonder if Sony has adjusted SciFi's price accordingly.
