I don't necessarily see the Boeing contract as a positive for Ancor. In the defense related searches I have done FC is usually seen as a competitor to ATM and SCI in COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) initiatives. A system like the one described in this article would probably use the highest speed interconnect available and also the ones being promoted by national labs for connecting supercomputers. That currently is not FC. I have also not found anything to suggest that Boeing is convinced that AWACS should be outfitted with FC on an ongoing basis.

I agree with Kerry's previous post, business from IBM's Global Services is potentially huge and in my opinion more probable. I also agree with Steve - I wouldn't write off HP as a storage OEM.
