Dave...Pre earnings run-ups like HONI,HOT,PSFT,AOL,FBN,EGRP, are fantastic. That is why I try to post the earnings plays as far in advance as I possibly can. In a few cases I do hold through earnings as I have with LCE,LAND,LADF,TKLC.. but these are usually stocks that have NOT run up that much before earnings and are less risky. Another good point is that when they do 'surprise' they are usually good for a nice run up after earnings and come back for more and more in the next weeks. It should be exciting watching the retailers that post earnings in the next few weeks. I'm looking for some interesting plays in TJX, DH, FD, BKE, WMT, ROST, and some of my 'old' favorites coming back. |
