I have no problem to talk about the water technology I know. You are interested in "Cryptosporidium detection at the point of use" which I may contribute my 2 cents. It is possible for ELTP to develop a method to stain Cryptosporidium with a chemical which can "reflrect" a light of special wave length when a laser light hit the stained Cryptosporidium. The trick is how to prepare the reagent and to count the numbers of these particles. There are other types of cysts should be detected at the same time as well. This reaction has to be universally effective to all of them. I am not expert in that field. However, it will not be easy. The whole project has to involve multi-disciplined scientists and engineers to prepare the reagents and fine tune the detection technology. After that, they will have to automate the process and build a auto-sampler, reactor, detector, recorder and warning device. I really hope they have got the resources to do this. The final product may take years of efforts and cost a lot of money which is probably out of reach of 99.999% of the population.

Regarding their acquisition of the ion-exchange membrane company, I would like to know how much they paid for it and I will try to read their recent balance sheet. They need a lot of cash to do all of these work. It is mind boggling for me trying to understand their real objective. May be time will tell.
