Perry, I read the Barrons cover article. Today Merck may be undervalued compared to Pfizer, but not in 3 or 4 years' time. Pfizer has more potentially blockbuster drugs in the pipeline and its present blockbusters have a long way to go before they are off-patent. I thought we are talking about future growth here, or what else to account for their recommendations of internet stocks as long term buys? I see some sort of Pfizer/Viagra bashing appearing (not only in Barrons, but appearing in other places as well). Are they trying to hold down the stock price?
