Quarter over quarter analysis All in millions, US Mar 31/98 Dec 31/97 Revenues 10.3 4.0 + 257% Earnings fm operations 1.787 .707 Interest income .493 .552 Foreign exchange (.197) 1.668 Net Earnings 1.291 1.815 - 29% EPS .11 .16 I didn't manage to catch the conference call, unfortunately. Was there any discussion/explanation around the big swing in foreign exchange contribution and will they be hedging against any further fluctuations going forward? Does anyone have an explanation as to why analysts were estimating 8 cents when earnings for the previous quarter were 16 cents ??? Thanks
