Neil:

I've just arrived back from meetings out of the country and this is the first chance in several days I've had to check in.

The Abacus/Barrick (Manchuria) project is one of the more interesting ones in the area. I'm tracking down exactly where it is in relation to ours but, if it is 80 kilometers south of Minera Andes, I'd guess it would be somewhat south of our Lejano group of properties, one of the northern ones being adjacent to Minera Andes. If memory serves, we have eight properties in that group, each covering about 100 square kilometers. You can get a general idea of our project area -- and therefore, of the location of Manchuria and Minera Andes -- from the maps in recent press releases at yamana.com . At a guess, I'd say that El Plumo would be very roughly 30 kilometers north of Lejano and Bacon is about 150 kilometers south of Lejano, putting Manchuria in the middle. That's something I'll confirm in the next day or two.

I'll also check with our technical people about this to see if there is anything special to be interpreted from these results, beyond the further support for what we have been saying about this "emerging silver district".

I hope this helps.

Greg
