My similar problem is solved by having a brother that think technology ought to be "proven" by a decade or so before he goes for it. In 1992 I gave him my 8086-8MHz. This upgraded him from an Atari 800. He was astounded that he could see a full 80 characters across the screen. Now that he has my 486 he is learning the wonders of Win 3.1 and a GUI! With all the griping I endure it's nice to experience such naive joy once and awhile :) Jeff
