What are you talking about?

Say, just to give you *one* example, your comment to twister on October 1996 (when Apple was around $25 per share) that in December 1997 ($13 per share) that you would be either "toasting or teasing" him, and that you would buy him a virtual beer. exchange2000.com

What there's no question about is that Apple was a lousy investment on October 1996.

There have been plenty of admissions by MacOS supporters on this thread, that Apple was poorly managed by Sculley and Spindler.

Only after they were fired. Once again benefiting from hindsight. Now everybody (except you, to be fair) is on the "Amelio is an idiot" bandwagon, the same people who lashed out to my suggesting that he had not cut deep enough. (IMHO Amelio was a mixed blessing: he got the ball rolling, but he lacked the courage to go all the way).

If you want to talk about hindsight, how about someone like yourself that seems to have finally bought into "Jobs' new found direction". [...]while stating [last September] "IMHO Steve J. still is in reality distortion if he believes that Apple's niches are enough to keep this company afloat...."

I suggest you look up the definition of hindsight, and try again.

There was a very valid question if Steve was the right person for the job (even several AAPL bulls here wondered). It turns out he was, but I'm not here claiming "it was clear he was the right choice all along". I have more integrity than that.
