I wouldnt undersell this stock as I believe we are only now witnessing the beginning of a monster wave of ATMs production with bells and whistles like we"ve never seen before.A case in point WSJ last week mentioned Southland Corp's 7Eleven stores will be introducing state of the art NCR ATMs in all their stores 5000 to be exact. These machines will be able to cash checks ,wire money ,scan checks being negotiated ie, debiting &crediting in 1 go,negotiate loans through a virtual teller available on monitor 24hrs a day, give exact change etc.Banks are al;so introducing the concept of also selling everything from postage stamps to theatre& sports tickets for their customers. My guess is that NCR &IBM will dominate this mkt but NCR could with no major shareholder be an attractive takeover candidate.Little LTDebt and lots of cash $1.4bill,before their stock buyback,I wonder why their buying back now maybe cleaning house in the event of a takeover.ANY comments.
