Tony, re:"rolling out Merced is going to be one very hairy project" It should be present tense - Intel is going full bore now and seems to be doing great. Now is the time for commitments to IA-64 that will endure for the next decade or so. Everybody is coming on board so far. Absolutely great for Intel. (and for the customers too). Also Merced is far larger than one project. Major projects are afoot. The only bummer is that revenue won't turn on till 2003 or so :( Jeff
