I believe talks are going on all the time. The firm is looking for many different ways to enhance revenue, fuel growth, and then utilize a bundle of cash flows for bigger projects (late stage pharmaceuticals). The firm would either be interested in acquiring products from large firms (retooling as mentioned) or licensing products from large firms who want someone to take care of certain products not in their economies of scope.
