Bonnie,

A lot of the real estate that the RTC couldn't give away a few years ago seems to be at its highest value ever. I blew some opportunities on that deal.

Stocks certainly seem a bit inflated.

I think salaries are inflated. Do you remember the little piece I wrote on the Kahuna thread a long time ago that talked about how employee stock options don't seem to be included in wage inflation calculations. I remember I got an email from the BLS or some agency telling me that. If its true, that just seems bizarre to me.

I just realized this would be an awfully long note if I commented on every asset and commodity. But yeah, my general impression is that we have inflation.

As far as the market, I dunno either. I am convinced that this is a mania and that there are no set limits on manias. Price to book is the statistic that really sticks out as being out of whack to me.

Thanks for the post,
WS
