I'm not familiar with GLCP's employee stock issuance guidelines but it might be possible that the amount of shares which are issued to officers are based on some kind of a fixed dollar amount> In sum they could have timed their request to get the greatest amount of compensation. I'm not sure why that would be of concern. What does matter is how good the underlying technology is, which in my opinion is superior to the biggest competitor in the market(Itron). Gosh, look at what they're(ITRON) is selling,handheld meter readers, drive bys????PLEEEEEASE!!!!! This looks like a classic case of utility companies trying to protect jobs.
