Paul I believe in the wsj (tech section)latest computer recommendations for a minimum purchase was 512 L2 cache. I thought I would mention the latest specifications for a basic buyer of a pc in the wsj's writer opinion. He also mentioned the following @ least 233mhz (seems low by today's standards). 6 gigabytes, 56k modem that can be upgraded to international standard for modems, 8x, @ least 1 usb port and zip drive if not more than $100. (handy for back up)
