A couple of hard drive questions:
I'm considering getting a Dell with one of these two drives:
8.4GB 10.1GB
Avg latency 5.56ms 4.17ms
Rotational speed 5400rpm 7200rpm
Spindle start time 10sec 18sec

1)Would the faster rotational speed of the 10.1GB drive provide any
significant performance increase with regards to trading software?
In other words, if your using RealTickIII, does a faster drive help?

2)What is spindle start time? Is this just the amount of time it
takes to get the drive going when you turn the computer on?

3)The 10.1GB is not compatible with NT operating systems. Since I
plan on using 95/98, this doesn't matter to me, but I'm wondering why
the drive would not work with that OS.

Thanks for any help.
regards,
Mike
