That I did not say. What I said was that all of McAfee's hoopla over this and call for an investigation has caused some poor sucker DA to open an investigation. Whatever you read into what I said I am sorry for. But the real question is why has McAfee started all this? Because one of McAfee's competitors has the audacity to market a product the same way that McAfee does!

Here's another point of fact: On 10/21 Touchstone Software did a press release on their new version of PC-cillin II, and below is an excerpt

"Macro Shield not only detects and cleans all known macro viruses, but catches unknown macro viruses even before they've been identified. With Macro Shield, users are completely protected from all known macro viruses, as well as those that are still to come."

There's that phrase again twice! But has McAfee called for an investigation of Touchstone Software? No. Why? Most likely because Touchstone Software doesn't cut into McAfee sales like Symantec does!

What a bunch of whiners!
