My thoughts on the subject: I use alternate doctors first and AMA doctors when pharmaceuticals are indicated. Cod liver oil was recommended to me a couple of years ago and i used it consistently until getting a tolerable tasking oil proved inconvenient. A fine tasting oil could be had but not at my local health food store only through an individual distributor and it was more expensive than common cod liver oil. Then there was my consideration of toxins in this liver oil. Where did these fish come from, was I helping me in one way and poisoning me in another. A pure/clean form of DHA is an obvious answer. Consequently my interest in a company such as Martek.
My children are grown and i did nurse them, but too many woman do not nurse their children. I believe that the more people that are thinking from clearer better functioning minds the better off we all will be.
