I just finished reading you post on the antics of MM'ers and it is all gospel.

I would like to know if you can offer up any tips for spotting these dudes other than the doubt they create? I would think they could and would create euphoria when it would best serve their purpose as well?

I too watch the bid/ask and the bid/ask volume constantly on any stock I am following. There are many of the MM'er tricks that one can learn if you are watching. But, heaven help you if you begin to educate the investors on the thread. They will start a stink the likes of which you won't believe. I had it happen to me. I discovered the poster was a broker and believe it or not, just a visitor to the SI threads. This person is no longer posting and I would guess banned from membership for the last performance.

Those of you on the thread who know the tricks and antics of the MM'ers should educate the thread share what you know. This is the fastest way to root them out and beat them at there own game.

One that I have noticed is near the end of the day they will drop the bid or even the next trading day, thereby causing the weak and doubting to think "geez someone sold a ton at last minute or late the day before" I better get out while I can.

Wham... the MMer just bought some CHEAP stock! He is shaking out the weak and it usually works. I believe we can teach others and beat them at their own game. I am always looking for new information on this subject. Let's share what we know...

I am getting to the point that I am "suspect" of any and all johnny come lately's to the threads I follow.
