Umm, basically what your saying is that you don't have a source for your claim of 13 million short. There is no multiplier for my source, the short interest reported was as of the close 4/10/98, this was before the run up in KTEL, so 13,000 is not unreasonable considering the level of interest and trading volume previous to the run, but is ridiculous to quote as a current short interest. But definitely less ridiculous than saying 13 million.
You say I am "shooting from the hip", I was pointing out that your statement is inconsistent with reality, and I believe it is you who are mistaken. I only said I could be wrong to be polite. I withdraw that, since you obviously have no source for your number, and have pulled it out of thin air. It is you who needs to do some real homework, and to get in touch with market reality.
I know how it can trade more than INTC, it is obvious that you don't have a clue, and so make up fantasies to fill in the gap in your knowledge.
