I agree with that logic John. I have been researcing some energy trusts. I have found a few that return 7% plus with oil prices LOW. They should do better with oil prices much higher. I would also think the unit prices would rise as investors move into them giving the early investor a dowble bonus. Several trust units are trading much cheaper than a year ago as investors have opted for the YHOO gamble.

My concerns are:

How does one determine the reserves and replacement of same in these trusts?

How does ownership of a "unit" differ from that of a "stock"?
