The point I was trying to make was if $260,000 preferred dividend was paid from offering cash raised instead of the net income, then the net income for 3/98 would have been very close to $455,000 instead of the actual net income reported of $195,000. Using 4,938,000 shares and estimated net income of $450,000 would have netted an eps of $.09. Even if you use $450,000 along with the higher share total of 7,856,000, the eps would be $.057, which rounds to $.06.
