One small correction LouieD. When a stock is gaining momentum, you can sell alot of times at the ask. The MM's will take it or part of it due to the demand they see coming and thinking it will go higher. It also can protect the stock from decreasing in value and provides support. Doesn't happen all the time,but enough to matter. Just be careful. Jimbo
