Did your book club do Yellow Raft on Blue Waters? Because I'm reading the "prequel", Cloud Chamber. And loving it. It's the story of Ramona's family leading up to her birth. I didn't realize it until halfway through. ANd then it became very personal feeling. As if I were talking to an old woman who had told me all these fascinating things about her own family and then said, "And then my daughter adopted a little girl and called her Alexa..."
