I also read the news in NYT. A casual literature search will indicate that there is very little news here, however, just a few nice quotes. The promise of angiostatin and endostatin has been widely known for at least the past 2 years. So why is the story suddenly receiving headlines? I might suggest that those considering buying on this "news" might want to ponder the fact that often such news causes a one or two day buying stampede (largely driven by illiquidity of the underlying shares). Once it is over, there is often a 30-40% drop. So good luck! SC
