Anybody, is is possible to transfer securities that are in a regular brokerage account to a Roth IRA as a means of funding it??? It's not the commissions that will kill me (if I have to buy/sell) but the spread between the bid/ask, plus with my luck the stock price will go up in the interim while the money is transferring. Kurt
