When a sector is in a bull correction phase, the stocks that will rise the quickest when the correction is over should be the ones with the best relative valuations. MRK, first entry at 110ish, second entry at 98-100 with help from the overall market. As for PFE being the DELL of the drug sector ... here's an analogy. While DELL may be the bellweather of the boxmakers, GTW ran up 28 points on relative valuation basis with at less risk than DELL in the current market.
