Mark - MSB wrote me a very thoughtful private message, which I pm'd him back saying he should post it to the thread. Clearly I over-reacted, proving his point - which is that we are all to some extent racist, myself included. He was wondering if others would be willing to come clean with their feelings on the subject.

Here's a funny thing - MSB is talking about tejanos, chicanos, who are mexicanos resident in the US. We from the south of M‚xico call these people norte¤os (and much worse), and distrust them highly, we see them as changed very much for the worse by the influence of their contact with the USA.

So his point is a good one - racism is endless, a circle - and we are all in it.
